Attorney Ned Abrahamsen has been selected to serve as the President of Lackawanna County Pro Bono for the years 2012 and 2013. The organization provides free legal services to clients who would otherwise be unable to afford a lawyer.

The Lackawanna County Pro Bono, Inc. Program has been operating since 1997 and is one of the only three organizations that provides lawyers free-of-charge to Lackawanna County residents. Lackawanna County Pro Bono deals exclusively with civil cases, including landlord/tenant disputes, family law matters and protection form abuse orders.
ACA has been recognized by Lackawanna County Pro Bono multiple times for having each and every lawyer in the firm accept new pro bono cases every year. Also, four of the attorneys presently at ACA have been recognized by Lackawanna Pro Bono for dedication in accepting 10 or more pro bono cases from Lackawanna Pro Bono in the past 10 years.
